Course description:
The EMBO Practical Course on Super-resolution in Light Microscopy provides lecturing and hands-on training in advanced imaging techniques, covering confocal-based computational super-resolution, Structured Illumination Microscopy (SIM), and Nanoscopy (STED & SMLM).
Participants will learn from leading experts and application specialists through lectures, keynotes, and hands-on sessions with state-of-the-art microscopy systems. The course is ideal for PhD students, postdocs and researchers in biology or microscopy facility staff, looking to deepen their expertise in super-resolution techniques.

The EMBO Satellite – SLM 2025 is an open forum designed to complement the EMBO Practical Course on Superresolution Light Microscopy. While the main EMBO course is reserved for selected participants, this satellite event provides a unique opportunity for the wider scientific community to engage with leading experts in the field. Through a series of public lectures, invited speakers will share their research experiences in the context of the latest trends in superresolution light microscopy
