Open access
Czech-BioImaging offers open, non-discriminatory access to state-of-the-art biomedical imaging technologies and expertise.
What is Czech-BioImaging open access?
Czech-BioImaging open access follows an excellence-driven approach, where applications are peer-reviewed to assess their scientific excellence, originality, quality, and technical and ethical feasibility. Reviews are conducted by experts from the respective Czech-BioImaging Core Facility or, for more complex projects, by external evaluators. This access model promotes collaborative research and technological development across geographical and disciplinary boundaries.
Our Open Access Policy aligns with the European Charter for Access to Research Infrastructures, ensuring efficiency, support, transparency, and openness at the point of service. Users gain access to necessary resources—including instrumentation, expertise, training, data software, and analysis tools—throughout their research projects.
Czech-BioImaging open access provides users from academia, business, industry, and public services with access to 16 Core Facilities located in: Prague, Vestec, Brno, Olomouc, and České Budějovice.
